Louisiana Growth Principle #1 Create a Culture of Growth

The Louisiana district has created a culture of leadership growth and development. There are many venues for leadership development each year. Men with proven leadership abilities were brought in to teach and train us on issues relating to ministry and general leadership. Some of these meetings were for sectional and district leaders while others were for all preachers or pastors in the district.

10 Reasons Louisiana has Produced so Many Preachers

Anywhere you travel in America or abroad you are likely to come across a preacher with roots in the great state of Louisiana. Some people mock Louisiana because we often rank near the bottom (when compared to other states) in quality of life, income level, education, and other such things.

Seral Succession

All it takes to start a fire is a little fuel, the right atmospheric conditions, and a source of ignition, perhaps as small as a tiny spark. If circumstances are right, a single blade of grass once ignited can build into an inferno that burns and ravages countless acres of prime forest. Humble beginnings can transmute into raging fire storms, exploding trees, molten sand, and death. The aftermath of such devastation causes one to wince in regret at the horrible and blackened scars left behind where beauty once stood.

Reducing Organizational Costs

The fundamental purpose for organization is to coordinate a system of talents, resources, and operating structure toward the purpose of attaining a shared corporate vision.

It must be understood that in the pursuit of a vision an organization can be either a benefit or a detriment. In its purest form organization is merely a tool to achieve a specified purpose. Since it is merely a tool the organization can be changed or modified at any time. If it is achieving its purpose then simply improve it as needed along the journey.

Time Management

Time Management

Jesus was a wise time manager. Careful scrutiny of the scriptures reveals that He was very proficient at maximizing the value of the time spent on any endeavor. He was constantly bringing one meeting to a close in order to head to the next item on His agenda. He kept the disciples focused on tasks and assignments. He was a man of few words. Getting straight to the point saved Him significant chunks of time.
